Welcome to The Falcon Inn Scarborough

The Falcon Inn is set between Whitby and Scarborough, in the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors. We are a traditional family run Inn with a newly refurbished bar that adds a modern but still traditional feel, we're our staff offer a warm welcome to all that pass through the door.

The setting makes it the perfect place to get away, relax and enjoy our dining experience. For those who prefer the outdoors our lovely beer garden is situated at the side of the pub overlooking the glorious coastline were you can sit and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside while sampling our fine cask ales and home cooked food

The Falcon Inn History

The former coaching inn has almost 200 years of history and has been a regular port of call for travelers along the Scarborough to Whitby road.

It has been a pub since at least the beginning of the last century and prior to this was a shooting lodge for the then Lord Derwent.

As a 19th century coaching inn, it marked the changeover point for horses making the journey between Scarborough and Whitby.

And today the Falcon Inn Scarborough still provides a resting place for travelers.
